Product Overview
The Rabbit IgG ELISA Kit is a precise and sensitive assay designed for the quantitative measurement of Rabbit IgG levels in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants.
This assay operates on the antibody sandwich principle. The microtiter plate is coated with a capture antibody specific to the Rabbit IgG Fc region and has been pre-blocked and stabilized to form the solid phase. Samples, standards, and controls are directly added to the wells. After unbound IgG is removed through washing, an HRP-conjugated Detection Antibody Solution is added, binding to the heavy and light chains of the captured Rabbit IgG. Following additional washes, tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) Substrate Solution is introduced, resulting in a blue color proportional to the bound Rabbit IgG. The reaction is stopped using Stop Solution, turning the blue color to yellow. The optical density (OD) of the yellow product is measured at 450 nm using a microtiter plate reader.
