Conjugation Kit for Multiplex Western Blot Detection (Red and Blue)
Kit Components
Contains sufficient amount of material to generate two nanoparticle primary antibody probes (1 ml of each). When used as a mixture for multiplex colorimetric detection, these probes can be used to probe 3-5 standard (80 mm x 70 mm) PVDF or nitrocellulose membranes after blotting.
Reagents included:
- NHS-Activated Gold Nanoparticles
- NHS-Activated Gold NanoUrchins
- Protein Resuspension Buffer
- Reaction Buffer
- Quencher Solution

Cytodiagnostics nanoparticle conjugation kit western blots allows for simultaneous colorimetric detection of up to two antigens (Figure 1.) when conjugated to two independent primary antibodies. Detection can be performed visually and does not require the use of expensive imaging equipment, which is required for multiplex western blots using fluorescent antibody probes.

Figure 1. Simultaneous detection of two different antigens using conjugates made with our conjugation kit for multiplex nanoparticle detection kit in a vertical flow dot blot assay in less than 5 minutes.
The kit contains ready-to-use materials, no manipulation or activation of the nanoparticles is required prior to conjugation. Simply mix your primary antibodies of interest with their respective nanoparticle probe and incubate for 1-2 hours to conjugate and your multiplex probes are ready to be used. A detailed product guide is included with the product.
- Direct visual detection – No expensive equipment required
