How It Works
FAMCo forms a 150–300 nm silica-based layer that binds to fabric fibers, creating a non-leaching barrier that inhibits microbial growth. This coating is applied using the foulard or dipping method, followed by heat curing at 140–160°C for 30–45 seconds for maximum adhesion and performance.
